Who we are

The Three Tuns is a country pub in Cowlinge, Suffolk. We are the data controller for the personal information described here. If you have any questions about this policy or your data, please get in touch.

Information we collect

We only collect what we need to run the pub and respond to you:

• Table bookings — your name, phone number, email address, the date, time and party size, and any notes you choose to add (for example allergies or a special occasion).

We do not take any payment through this website, so we never see or store your card details.

How we use it

We use your booking details to manage your reservation and to contact you about it — for example to confirm the table, let you know if we cannot fit you in, or reach you if plans change.

Our legal basis

We process your booking details to take the steps you have asked for and for our legitimate interest in running the pub.

How long we keep it

We keep your booking details until the end of the day after your booking, then delete them automatically. Copies kept in our backups are deleted within a further 7 days. If you would like us to delete your details sooner, just ask.

Who we share it with

We never sell your information. We only share it with the trusted service providers who help us run the pub and this website — such as our email delivery and hosting providers — and only so they can perform that service for us. We may also disclose information if the law requires it.

Cookies

The public website does not use advertising or analytics tracking cookies. The only cookie we set is an essential one that keeps staff signed in to the private back office. You can browse the site normally without accepting anything.

Your rights

You have the right to ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, to correct it if it is wrong, to have it deleted, or to object to how we use it. To do any of these, please contact us. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
